The human energy and the journey of one’s life has always fascinated me; it is that journey that makes the core and substance of a human being so colourful. Observing these people - listening to their stories and understanding their experiences, is what drives the vision behind my artwork. 

 

Through observations and the exchange of thoughts and emotions, my vision is physicalised into varying colours and shapes, which often push me to develop new techniques along the way. Many of my paintings are rich in colour, with the paint being applied in bold strokes. My sculptures can embody abstract shapes, or tell the story of specific people; these are often times not reproduced, making each one unique.

 

My aim is to create works that encourage the viewer to use their imagination, in the hope that they will be able to find a piece of themselves in what I create.
